MARS / PROGRAM RECORD / 2026-07-28
A pre-release counted by gates, not promises.
MARS is pre-release and in active development. Its public release remains planned at 0%, and MARS has not shipped as a product.

01 / CLOSED GATES
What the receipts do support.
The governed runtime reports 20 of 20 test suites passing, and the MARS-1 Q4 consumer-hardware gate measured 50.2 tokens per second at a 3,098 MiB peak on an 8,151 MiB GPU.
PASS
Governed runtime
20 of 20 suites cover the executive, independent verifier, exact binding, context planner, and receipts.
PASS
Governed local API
OpenAPI 3.1 contract on loopback with eight endpoints; external origins rejected.
PROMOTED
Typed Hyphae interface
Nine channels reached 100% typed accuracy and preserved 491 of 491 pinned parent outputs.
PASS
Consumer hardware gate
MARS-1 Q4 measured 50.2 tok/s and 3,098 MiB peak over 8,151 MiB on an RTX 5050 laptop.
02 / REJECTED OR OPEN
What still prevents calling it a shipped product.
The full Q4 body was rejected at 86.1% source-pointer accuracy against a gate of at least 99%, and the admitted MARS-T work is only a bounded ternary slice, not a complete ternary model.
REJECTED
Q4 source pointer
86.1% against an at-least-99% gate. The parent hardware pass did not promote the full body.
REMEDIATION
Natural generalization
Evaluation stopped at 4 of 6. Typed accuracy does not authorize a broad natural-language claim.
OPEN
Composite under 8 GB
Packaging the parent, channels, and heads as one governed composite remains an open campaign.
BOUNDED
MARS-T
Only one {-1, 0, +1} policy slice was admitted; the complete ternary model does not yet exist.
04 / CANONICAL AUTHORITY
This record summarizes; MARS retains the receipts.
No repository, license, SemVer version, or date is published unless MARS's public authority makes it verifiable.
